Tell My Story
We invite you to join us at Turlock’s Farmers Market for a 15-minute social experiment, exploring how we can be better at connecting and building community.
Pudding Mit Gabel
What happens when we gather with no agenda, no goals, and—let’s be honest—no spoons?
Connect For and The Queen Bean invite you to a spoonless moment of delight: an absurd, joyful experiment in togetherness inspired by Germany’s “Pudding mit Gabel” trend. We’ll share pudding (with forks, of course), laughter, and the rare experience of connecting for no reason other than to remember what it feels like to be human—messy, curious, and gloriously alive.
Let’s pause for something beautifully pointless. A spoonless moment of belonging.

Connect For What Matters. No Matter What.
If you're living with uncertainty, stress, and tension right now, you're not alone. I am, too. As if the election wasn't enough, the world sometimes feels like a never-ending whirlwind of war and ugliness. Sometimes, it can be really difficult to stay hopeful and focused.
If you’re engaged in important community-based work, regardless of your political affiliation, I'd like to invite you join Connect For on election day. I know the day and the days that will follow will be full of uncertainty. But we can connect for what matters. No matter what.
So if you’re in the mood for some reflective and connecting space on election day, drop in for as much time as you have. We'll be thinking through the following questions:
1. What is important about the work you are doing now? Will your work continue with similar constraints and opportunities over the next year? 4 years?
2. In what ways might it change?
3. Where do you source the calm, curiosity, and compassion you need to be present for others and to continue your important work?
4. And, what skills, strategies, and partnerships are needed now to actively prepare for whatever is next?
Plan to bring your lunch if you'd like.
Tell My Story
We are all conditioned with certain biases. In this Tell My Story event, we challenge these biases by asking people to guess the interests and past experiences of a stranger based only on their partner's appearance.
We invite you to join us for an interactive 2 hours, meeting new people, exploring how we can be better at connecting and building community.
